| In 1966 |
Sanno Sangyo was founded as a small saw mill. |
| In 1988 | Sanno Housing started as an independent construction firm of the saw mill.
Initially, the business was concerned with carpentry work related to traditional
post-and-beam construction and subcontracted out its' services. |
| In 1989 | A precut-manufacturing system for main structural frames (e.g. columns,
beams and roofing frames for buildings), supplying its' products to house
builders was introduced. |
| In 1996 | The precut system upgraded and introduced new systems to craft other frames
include braces and non-structural frames such as studs, joists and window
sills. The firm was the first "precut factory" equipped with
a system able to consistently produce frames for post-and-beam house construction
in the Shikoku region. |
| In 1997 | Kobe branch for house construction business was set up. |
| In 1998 | Further developments \ introduced a precut system of plywood for sub-floors
and sub-roofing boards. The complete precut system was equipped in the
factory along with continuous investment in the CAD / CAM system in the
past decade. |
| In 2000 | ISO9001 was accredited. The category in precut manufacturing. |
| In 2003 | Sanno Housing registered as a design studio with qualified architects,
upgraded to class 1 from class 2. |
| In 2004 | -Precut system for special crafted timber frames such as the truss was
equipped. -ISO 14001 was accredited. The category in both precut manufacturing, and design and construction for wooden buildings. The firm became the first firm which established both the quality and environmental management system in the Shikoku region. |
| In 2005 | Precut-manufacturing system for metal-joint-timber frame was introduced.

| In 2008 | An automated joinery machine for every type of wood construction was introduced. Also, an 3-D CAD for wood frame building introduced last year is able to design various types of joinery and frame include log cabines. |
